In addition to tree services, we can also provide hedge maintenance services throughout Kent. Whether your hedge needs a simple trim or has grown out of control and needs to be reduced to a manageable size, we have the equipment, knowledge and attention to detail to appropriately care for your hedge. We can provide you with a quote for the work required, and where necessary advise on the best time of year to undertake any works for your specific variety of hedgerow.

NRE Services Ltd undertake a lot of roadside work to manage hedges, diligently following the regulations set out by The Department for Transport and The National Highways to ensure the safety of the public and our tree operators whilst working on the highways. We have our own signage and can provide full traffic and pedestrian management systems (we will advise you where this is required and necessary).

We are a conscientious company which aims to minimise its overall impact on nature whilst carrying out all aspects of its operations. This includes nesting birds and other wildlife. The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 makes it an offence to intentionally or recklessly disturb any wild bird listed on Schedule 1 while it is nest building, or at a nest containing eggs or young, or disturb the dependent young of such a bird. As a result we avoid any potential disturbing activity (including hedge cutting) between the 1st of March and the 31st of July unless it is absolutely necessary. Our utility tree cutting teams work within a well planned system that is generally provided well ahead of time, giving us the opportunity to schedule the works during the appropriate season.
